podcasting

Podcasting

I co-host, produce and edit Stripped, a podcast, newsletter and ~state-of-being~ that explores the intersection of sex, gender and fashion. It is a celebration of all the weird and wacky things that make us unique and is a community that fosters self-love and acceptance. An unbiased review from one podcast guest concludes it is "better than The Daily," and the cohosts' mothers both agree that anything keeping their daughters this busy "can't be that bad."

Decide for yourself. Listen to episodes of Stripped, A Podcast here and wherever you listen to podcasts. Stripped, A Podcast, The Newsletter ! is available here

photography

With 8+ years of photography experience and an Art degree from Georgetown University, I specialize in fashion and travel photography. My images can be found on the front pages of The Dorchester Reporter, The Georgetown Voice, and on my friends' LinkedIn profiles. I won a Bunn Award for Excellence in Photojournalism in 2018 for my work on the Georgetown Voice's "Surreality" Fashion Issue, which I co-directed.

Leadership

In five semesters at Georgetown University's student-run newsmagazine The Georgetown Voice, I served as:

Photography Editor (2 semesters);

Multimedia Editor (1 semester);

Social Media Editor (1 semester);

and Assistant Manager of Accounts and Sales (2 semesters)

I co-produced (directed, styled, edited, designed, and sourced talent for) three annual Fashion Issues.

I spent 3 years as cohost of Georgetown's first and only fashion-focused podcast.

I photographed for and wrote a dozen+ articles, including many (many) movie reviews.

retail

After growing up behind the counter of my mom's local foods store, I spent two and a half years in retail at american/holiday, a d.c. home goods store, during college. I combined that experience with one-on-one internships at kaleido, a NoVa-based vintage and conscious clothing store, which brought me to trade shows, thrift stores and pop-ups, teaching me how to buy and sell vintage clothing; at curio, a d.c.-based creative concept store that introduced me to middle eastern luxury designers and even more vintage; and waller & wood, where I assisted u.k.-based artist and designer carol waller in her studio, in her store, during photoshoots, and at London trade shows.
